Case Study: Organizational Redesign


When the long-term CEO of a healthcare organization retired, the Board recognized the need for an organizational redesign. A transparent process was used in which people volunteered to participate on a cross-functional team that met over a series of full-day meetings to draft a new organizational structure. Their organizational redesign proposal was reviewed with all employees to solicit feedback, refined, and then proposed to the Board for acceptance and execution.
